Allow me to introduce myself!

Hello! My name is Chelsea Loew and I am currently a sophomore at the College of Charleston. For Fall semester of 2011, I was signed up for a class about Computing in the Arts, as I am a Music Theory and Composition major. Unfortunately, the professor double scheduled himself, and my whole class was dropped just a few weeks before the semester started! I was now lacking a 3-credit hour course, which led me to find CSCI 114.

...so what is CSCI 114?

CSCI 114 is a class based on web design and the principles behind it. The class is essentially divided into two sections. The first half deals with the program Adobe InDesign, in which we learned how to create flyers, business cards, letter heads, calendars, and even textbook layouts!
The second half of the class focused on HTML and CSS principles. It is very complicated when first starting, but if I can get the hang of it, so can you! Throughout our time in this class, we also did a little work with Adobe Photoshop, as you will see in this website!
